State Leadership
Fall Leadership is a wonderful way to begin a new year! Our State Leadership was in Provo, Utah on September 23/24, 2014. Nicola Atene, Katrina Parrish and Mrs. Dee, our FCCLA Advisor attended the training. Our state theme this year is “Color Your World with FCCLA!” To start off the conference, they attended a dynamic opening session meeting the new state officers, participating in ice breaker activities and listening to a great speaker.
As the conference progress, students received training for their various roles as officers. Students were given the opportunity to complete Power of One. When they completed a form, students received a state pin.
All is all it was a great experience for students from MVHS to attend the leadership training. New friends were made and new ideas gain to start a new year.
